We’re always looking to innovate as we expand. Three years after we first opened, we added our Cabanas de Carmen to cater to larger groups. That was also when we started to offer our outdoor activities. We started out with hiking and geocaching, but our offerings now include everything from bungee jumping to kayaking.
In 2013 we launched a new project intended to further capitalize on the beauty of the Galician coast: Cabañitas del Bosque, our eco-friendly treehouses. We began with just three, which we named after members of the family: Cabana de Arturo, Cabana de Amalia, and Cabana de Mucha. We designed and built these treehouses ourselves, creating spaces that combine luxury with a love of nature. They emphasize clean lines and natural light, and thanks to their place high off the ground, they all have beautiful views of the lake nearby.
Spurred by the success of these first treehouses, we added our Cabanas do Barranco, a cluster of treehouses geared more toward large groups. This set of eight treehouses includes a store, reception building, and classroom where we offer cooking classes, as well as our Marine Activity Centre (CAM).
We now have something to offer for all tastes and sizes of groups. Our Cabanas do Broña are just 400 metres from the beach and many have multiple bedrooms, making them perfect for families. Our Cabanas sen Barreiras are fully accessible to people with disabilities, while still offering the full treehouse experience. We even have several full country houses available for rental that have been especially popular for weddings.
